My OTTB got some sad news today. I have had trouble keeping her sound over the last year and a half. She would be sound for a few months then off again in the next few months. We have tried multiple shoers (everyone told us it was a shoeing issue) and had three different vets look at her all not being able to find much other than a slight navicular bone shift but told us that was on the normal side for a TB. But today we took her to a new vet who took new xrays (last xrays were a year ago) and found that she has progressed navicular and told us she wouldnt be a jumper anymore. Has anyone had any luck with treatment for navicular? I know theres not much you can do but just wondering if anyone had a positive outcome from such a crappy diagnosis? Looking for some advice/hope! Thanks everyone! P.S. the picture is us at last February HITS show in Tucson,AZ. We were level 1 and level 2 champions for the week and won every class we entered! Always love showing those warmbloods what a 15.3 hh TB mare can do :)
