My Opening Farewell is the title of a Bonnie Raitt song that I like. I thought it seemed appropriate as I am saying farewell to Crystal Mountain. After 11 years as the owner and another 7 before that in various capacities it is time for me to say goodbye. I think the school needs fresh ideas and energy, and it is time for me to walk another path. I am happy to announce that Tali Williams, graduate of the school, has purchased it from me and will be taking over as the full-time owner next Tuesday, July 1. I think the school will be in good hands and will continue to bring quality massage therapy education and service to the Albuquerque community. I cant believe 18 years have gone by so quickly. It seems like just yesterday that I started working at the front desk. This has been quite a journey for me. I have learned so much and met so many wonderful people. To everyone who has come to Crystal Mountain either as a student, instructor or client I thank you for the opportunity to learn something from you. People say this school changes their life. Well it has certainly changed mine and I am grateful for the experiences I have had here and the person I have become as a result. Thank you to everyone and best wishes to you on your life journey!
