My PERNICIOUS thought for the day... On solidifying a brand name: So for some reason - there seems to be a new trend happening with brand names (or company names etc) and that is - changing them every few weeks. This is a BAD idea and will only work against you (or your company). The REASON for establishing a brand name - is to build that solid foundation of recognition which helps with exposure, marketing, promoting, and as stated on the foundation level: recognition. Changing your brand name is basically the same as hitting the reset button on your game console. By doing this - you pretty much instantly wipe out your marketing and exposure recognition - and have to begin the long process of establishing that foundation again... This is wasted time and wasted effort. Pick a catchy brand name that defines who and what you and/or your company are and work towards building a strong foundation for the said name - and DO NOT change it. Remember - the longer you hold on to that brand name - the stronger it becomes - and thats what you want. Changing it only weakens it - especially if you do it more than once. Something to think about...
