My People Which Are Called By My Name: “My people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now my eyes shall be open, and my ears attend unto the prayer that is made in this place.” (2 Chron 7:14-15) The question is “Do you consider yourself a Christian?” Do others consider you a Christian? Does God consider you a Christian? We must stop looking for a better preacher, a more talented Evangelist, A Bigger Congregation, or a better President, and look in God’s mirror at ourselves and go to our knees in repenting prayer. Start following God’s Commandments for His People. Stop critiquing others and examine ourselves alongside God’s Word. The “Who Is You” that will separate you from God and His commandments. “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” (Romans 8:35) “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of god, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39) No one but you can allow your soul to be contaminated with sin once you are saved. No outside force is strong enough to divide you and God. By yielding yourself to sinful practice will cause God to leave you if there is no repentance, leaving you in a worse state than what you were in. Keep your House occupied by God: Don’t let yourself become self-righteous and feel above others. Revival can start with you. If you humble yourself and repent to a place that moves God. The sinful condition of World today is not the cause of no revival. The cause is a Church that has failed to repent. When we get right with God, HE will make even our enemies be at peace with us. Church, it is not Self-Righteousness that brings revival, but Humility before God that will bring miracles and Revivals. It is so easy to see the other fellow and not get a good look at yourself. Don’t worry about the other fellow, just get right with God yourself. Refuse to live a Self-Righteous life, where you think nobody lives like you. As long as you are judging them you are not right either. Whether a man stand or fall is up to God. He knows the Heart of every man. It is not how good our Church gets, but how “HUMBLE” our church gets.. Obedience to God’s Word and a Humble Spirit will move the hand of God. We saw this with Nineveh. The King of Nineveh humbled himself and God turned from the Judgment He had proclaimed for them by Jonah’s Word to them. Less turns God’s anger into forgiveness and deliverance for today‘s Church. . Jesus gave all at “Calvary.” The Prodigal Son humbled himself in Luke’s Gospel and returned to his father’s house for reconciliation. He did not go to his old friends, or his brother, He went back to the Father’s House. This is what we have to do. He will not drag you back home, but God is waiting and longing for His children to awake from their state of rebellion, and come back Home to the Fathers’ House. Come Home while you can. The Door is slowly closing. Time is running out.
