My Personal Philosophy is that no stores should be open on Thanksgiving. Everyone should be able to spend the holiday with their families and let Black Friday start at 0400 or 0500 that it used to. Well I ran out of fleece to make blankets to send home with each dog adopted and need to get the biggest bang for my meager bucks in the bank account. I was seriously considering hitting up Hancocks on Thanksgiving evening to score fleece for 70% off. WELL, I was looking at their ad tonight and they had some fleece for $3.79 a yard. (it was team print with paw prints on it, try to make all my blankets dog themed but it doesnt always work out that way). So I head out tonight with coupons from Joanns printed. I scored 16 yards of fabric using the Joanns coupon for $52.58, which equals out to $3.28 a yard SCORE. As the cheapest I could have gotten it on Thanksgiving is $3.30 a yard. Now I get to stay out of the stores on Thanksgiving, not have to deal with a LONG LINE. So now on Black Friday I will be going and seeing Dr. Brooks and getting Laceys medical done.
