My Piece of mind about Ghanas 57th Independence Celebration NB: i barely talk about such, but this is how i feel..... I think God is not happy with Ghana (controversial statement, huh). My explanation; 57 years ago, Dr. kwame Nkrumah with the help of other personalities toiled and to gain Independence for then Gold Coast. A country with soo many prospects, rich in raw materials and precious minerals, Electricity and now oil........... 57 years down the line and Ghana is in so much debt, bad economy, in-accountability, bad roads, dum-so-dum-so, devalued currency, high utility charges, corruption, just to mention a few. We have on our coat of arms Freedom and justice but we see no justice in the country.... If yesterdays 57th Independence day was worth celebrating, there would have been NO RAIN to distract the ceremony. From a biblical point of view; God made the sun standstill 24hrs in the days of Joshua in other for a battle to be won, I guess the battle was worth winning so God held the sun to stay up that long....... I am not talking in favour of any political party or any person, but i think what we lack as a country is LOVE and the FEAR of GOD amongst us all. We Love the country but we dont show our Loyalty in the things we do. if we are patriotic and we #LOVE our Country Ghana as we claim, we will put the WE FACTOR first before any other thing else. If we fear God as we always claim God first, we will put Gods WORD first, we second before our BELLIES. God can BLESS and FLOURISH Ghana like ABRAHAM if only we put him first as a country. I am not pointing fingers at any Government or any person but i believe Leaders are stewards and their role is service and not to be served......... Cant say everything but, Ghana needs Repentance.
