My Position on the future of Nigeria & 2015 Election I have - TopicsExpress

My Position on the future of Nigeria & 2015 Election I have been in politics since 1979 and i know the dynamics of the sort of the politics that is practised in my country Nigeria. It hurts me so much that our people still dont understand what is really happening but today almost everybody seems to articulate vague analysis of what Nigeria needs and what we do not need. This singular attidude is driven by sheer greed, sychophancy and hypocrisy which will spell doom for Nigeria. You dont want to get into politics to help shape Nigeria to what it should look like but you can collect crumbs from politicians to tarnish the image of another Nigerian who may be working to see Nigeria improve but also change. The only way to avoid Nigerias impending precipice is simple, Nigerians must take ownership of the politics currently being played today in Nigeria and control it by joining APC or PDP en mass then forge a common cause in liberating Nigeria. Anything short of this but continue wallowing on facebook and twitter without impacting on the latter will continue to throw up people like Jonathan as leaders. Those who currently decide the fate of Nigeria are not on facebook and twitter, also those who vote in Nigeria are not on facebook, they are equally not on twitter so those who make these social media platforms their home do so not for the love for their country Nigeria but what i have described earlier. 99% of Nigerians are very corrupt and would always love to cut corners in just about anything and everything that we do hence most of us love that a very lousy man Goodluck Jonathan is our President. A country being run by this misfit and many ignorant Nigerians still justifying his leadership are simply nothing but time wasters who probably are among the same lot that started being interested about our politics lately. I have supported the emergence of Buhari from day one, gave all the reasons why he is the only person today that can turn Nigeria around for just in 4 years; i have been excoriated for having this position but for those who make noise, i will never join issues with you because you dont know that you dont know so lets just say that your opinion are based on ignorance and lacks the basic critical analytical strength to dissect the murky waters of Nigerian politics. No offence to you lot but you cannot divorce the fact that you have never been in politics before, never gotten into Nigerian politics before, your family and those around you knew nothing about the politics of Nigeria because most of you had always emphasised that you are not intetested but today you are suddendly are, given the assumed impression of the obvious rookie that you are. Make sense though!!! CRITICAL FOR ME AND MY FAMILY BEYOND 2015 I have always maintained my position in anything relating to Nigeria and my resolve to help reshape her for the better; that brings me to the context of this unusual update. My position is clear on Nigeria. Any attempt to hoist President Goodluck Jonathan back into Aso Villa come 2015 is simply fulfilling the CIAs prediction on Nigerias future. Buhari will never rule Nigeria if Nigerians are not willing to pressure APC to nominate him as their partys presidential candidate come 2015. He still remains the only potential candidate that can beat Jonathan in 2015? No other candidate can beat Jonathan in 2015 except Buhari, this will be assuming if Nigerians are ready to see the future of Nigeria as priority and secured state to live and work in, anything outside this position is a failure. If APC would not nominate Buhari to become their Presidential candidate come 2015 which is more than likely, i shall cease my support for APC and i will never campaign for the party again. Once that happens, i shall then switch my allegiance to making sure that Biafra becomes a country, a feat worth the blood of 3 million Igbos killed during the Biafran civil war. I have contributed my quota and loyalty to my country Nigeria but my position will definitely change assuming if APC leaders collects money like ACN did in 2011 and sold off the candidacy of Malam Ribadu to Jonathan thereby uselessing his candidacy which ACN at the 11th hour sold off to PDP. If Buhari is used and dumped by APC which is most likely given the fact that such a man is rare to find then Nigeria is finished. -Anthony Akabogu
