My Post of the Day: A response posted on an article posted White privilege a interview of Bill oReilly by Jon Stewarts The Daily Show......I grew up in a predominately black rural community not a ghetto in Illinois called Pembroke you may have seen the Special on the Oprah show sighting it as one of the poorest places in America. Many Veterans there this community got ditly as white communities all around it thrived. What we did get is ripped off for every kind of funding and service and development that was earmarked for our community by white privileged communities. Has it changed since the 50s no the community is even poorer if that is possible. Then and now people of Pembroke are forced to spend their hard earned dollars in those privileged white communities. Then and Now the tax dollars paid for nothing of much in infrastructure except a few more paved roads. Bill O so arrogant and privileged let me be the one to tell you This Veteran has never been arrested started working at age 12 earning a honest dollar never made a dishonest dollar in my life. I have work hard all my life along side of white privileged and less experienced even less educated so called equal opportunity promotions pass me by for no other reason than the color of my skin. Thing is you will never in your life know what privileged is until you have be DEPRIVED. Dont pretend to know what it is to walk in my shoes if they dont fit you. Hell what other than White privilege gives you the right or opportunity to speak on the subject of the oppression of Black Americans or the prosperity of Asian Americans what you do read it......Blatant racism done openly and unashamedly,flagrant, glaring, obvious, undisguised, unconcealed, open to spell it out for you is still alive and well in this country. The issue of white privilege is a mode point until your primary issues are put in order Mr. O so arrogant. and the rest of indenial White America. Do the math and see if the crap you spit out of you mouth adds up...signed Honest hard working Black American now on disability who lost his job when times got tough in America while Privileged White America screwed up the Economic infrastructure of the Nation and the world kept theirs.
