My Pre-Katrina advocacy group, HOPE Helping Others Protect the Elderly has evolved into GULF STATES ADVOCATES FOR NURSING HOME REFORM, a non profit organized in the state of Florida. Please join me and others to help get the truth out about the atrocities in nursing homes perpetrated upon the most vulnerable citizens of our society! It doesnt take much, a simple call to legislators on behalf of those who can not, makes all the difference. Think about it for a minute. Citizens, yes they are citizens, who are institutionalized by design by the system have no voice or representation whatsoever. They do not vote (99% of them). Therefore, it is incumbent upon us as their children, sisters, brothers, etc to be their voices!
