My Revolutionary Heart by New York Poet Q*Q The mind of a revolutionary is one that is quite contrary-- to the world, he or she lives in the thought of peace going through their heads over and over again. They see the world as unfair to all who are alive, and this feeling grows in them from deep inside. They ask themselves: What can I do to make a change? They decide to do it themselves because thats what stops the pain. They talk to people and to their friends, who all ask: When will this madness come to end? So, as they speak out about what they feel is true, people start to follow them because they feel it too. A funny thing happens when he confronts the powerful and elite--those who control the food and water that we eat. For them, its about survival , so they say he has to go! And thats when it happens: the bullets start to blow. Thats when his followers start to fall back, and he stands out there with a target on his back. So such has been the story, of those who have come to bat, and nothing will ever change until we put a end to that. So here we go again--a brand new start-- a piece from me to all of you, from my aware now revolutionary heart.
