My Seminary class, Major World Philosophies, compares and contrasts the six major worldviews: Christianity, Islam, Secular Humanism, Marxism, Cosmic Humanism (New Age), and Postmodernism. Within each of those were studying each worldviews approach to 12 specific disciplines such as biology, politics, sociology, history, and more. Interestingly, todays strongly humanist field of Psychology is quickly rejecting the notion of a mind because with it comes the baggage theyd rather not deal with; the soul. This is most interesting because in rejecting the notion that a soul exists, humanist Psychology exposes itself for the fraud that it is. ***Because, do you know the definition of the word Psychology? It comes from the Greek meaning, The study of the soul. - Doh!
