My Sister just reminded me of something that happened to me a few years ago, I will never as long as I live forget it...My Sister and family had a camper up at Shady Waters Camp ground, So, I had really been sick a couple years before that so bad that they called my kids in they thought I was dying...It took me a long time to get over that but when I did I started walking and losing weight and I felt like I could just do anything I wanted to, so I was visiting my sister at the camp ground one day and we decided to go for a walk around the grounds and about half way there was a play ground for kids and And old stage...well, of course I had to go up and check it out..well Sister was walking around in front of the stage on the ground and I was up on the stage and she said come on lets go, so instead of me going back over to the side like a normal person and open the side door and walking down..Here I am dressed in white shorts and white tennis shoes and of course it had rained the night before wasnt real bad but wasnt real good either...lol...I go over to the front of the stage and get ready to jump and my sister says dont do that , you better go back over to the other side and come down the steps, I said Oh! no I can just jump down from the front here it isnt that far....Well, I jumped and when my feet hit the ground I dont know I must have thought my feet had springs on them and would bounce, but guess what?...They did not bounce and when they hit the ground they threw me backwards because I hit with such force...landed right on my behind in my no longer white shorts..My sister is standing over me laughing so hard , tears are coming down her cheeks and I took one look at her and busted out laughing so hard I almost wet myself ...here comes her son racing across the grounds on her golf cart seeing me laying there in front of the stage and my sister bending over me in tears laughing so hard neither of us could speak...he got so mad and told us we were nuts and drove off leaving us there...So, that was my last stage performance ..and I have to say it was a total flop....lol...we talk about that to this day and laugh.
