My Story: I have worked from home for the past 12 years. I started out as a receptionist for a real estate company, and unlike most people, I actually enjoyed my job and the people that I worked with. However at the time I was a single mom to a 1 year old, and it seemed like my mother who was my daughters care taker at the time, was raising my little girl and bonding with her the way that I longed to. So when I was presented with the opportunity to work from home, I jumped right on it! It was a good thing that I did, because little did I know that I was soon to be fired from the job I had loved so much. Well fortunately for me, I was able to receive unemployment and an extension for 9 months...during which I went full speed ahead trying to build my business. I was told you have to have a strong why in order to win, and I did. I wanted to be at home with my daughter, I wanted to retire my father who at the time was in his 60s working at a grocery store, and most of all I had spiritual obligations that I wanted to fulfill. So long story short, I did just what I set out to do! Within a 2 year period of working hard for myself, I would have been able to fire my boss, had he not fired me first (LOL!) but I never had to return to another J.O.B. again! I was able to buy my first home and purchase a brand new car, I was also able to retire my dad. My daughter has been able to have me full time, she is home-schooled and we get to enjoy time well spent together. Did I also mention the fact that I receive RESIDUAL INCOME? If youre not sure what that is, let me explain...I will liken it to royalties in the music industry. Some people are known as one hit wonders for ex. The singer Gloria Gaynor made the song I will survive...that song has become something like a womans anthem, its played on commercials, we hear it in movies, and every time that song is played or remade, Gloria Gaynor gets paid for doing a good job one time. I dont think I know of another song she has ever made...do you? But she is a wealthy woman because of that song. Likewise, I am still getting paid every month for business that I did years ago when I first began my business...Now thats what I call a smart business!
