My Sunday night HIIT workout! Upper/Lower body strength training combined with Upper/Lower body plyometrics. Working on developing more muscular power and explosiveness. Short workout but very effective in burning cals and building lean muscle mass. Start with Tabata sprint intervals which is 20 seconds of sprinting followed by 10 seconds of rest for 8 reps (4 mins in all) Then: 3 rounds with a 3 minute rest in between rounds of 10 reps of shoulder push presses (moderate weight load according to fitness level) 10 reps of back squats with a 2 sec pause at the bottom (use a light to moderate weight load according to fitness level) 10 plyometric clap push-ups (If unable to clap, perform pop-push-ups instead; can also perform on knees) 10 weighted box jumps (perform with light weights according to fitness level, leave out the weights and perform standard box jumps if you must) #100HERODAYS #day40 #Highintensity #GoHARD
