My Sustainable Kiwisaver - a summary: Kiwisaver providers dont seem to be interested in promoting these, to the detriment of people who care but dont know about their options. Therefore, because I care about sustainable investment, I want to promote my fund to others...please share this. OneAnswer through ANZ investments is the last remaining sustainable investment option, tho a range of socially ethical funds exist as per this link, which are also worthy of your hard earned investment moneys https://investments.anz.co.nz/kiwisaver/our-funds The sustainability fund is a single asset class fund (mostly international shares) and you can mix and match with other types of fund to get the risk/return level you are comfortable with. You have to chose this option to get the environmental sustainability effect. I chose a mix of single asset class funds to match the split as they suggest for someone about my age in the lifetimes options, about 60% shares (sustainable) and 40% fixed interest and property (NZ, Aus and international). Im comfortable with this for now, you might want more sureity or more agressive investment than me. Its easy to switch - all you need to do is fill in the form at the back of the OneAnswer kiwisaver investment statement and provide proof your a citizen.
