My Thoughts: After my feature I noticed something, the spoken word scene/artist in Mobile is sadly full of cliques, those that throw salt and secretly dont want to see you prosper, giving fake props just because. But I dont do cliques, because I dont need nor have to, now these same people I attended their features/shows/presentations to watch them say the exact same thing Ive seen said for years, but it was out of respect for their talent and love of the craft. Mobile is full of talent, but with the negative mentalties it will never be bigger than what it is. I commend Blacknez Recordingz Alex Jerome Lofton Alex Jerome Lofton II Ani Baraka Dee Rock Moore Shantel LadyRed Rembert Alfred OccupyWalmarts Ward Cheryl McGee Tamara Tam Williams Brandy L Payne for remaining true to yourselves absent of cliques to keep the movement going!!! And props to those who exited stage left as I did whether it be leaving town, leaving negativity behind, or leaving certain individuals to their antics ....Thanks to the 70 plus that showed me love it was appreciated.... oh ...drops mic!!
