My Thoughts about the Death of Joan Rivers in Regards to Fur- As much as i have been outraged at Joan Rivers continuous wearing & promotion of fur & feel like writing something very negative about her, i think we all should think twice about that & restrain. People are very sympathetic to the deceased & to victims so i think it is more effective to show sympathy for her family, friends and fans & do something positive for the fur animals in her memory. If we denigrate Joan, she is then seen as the victim, even though it is the fur animals who remain the real victims they are every second of every miserable day. My mother wore furs and I could never get her to change. She was not a monster but I think she was wrong, very wrong, just like Joan was in this regard. I really think that, when we put her down & victimize her now, after she has passed away, we end up looking as crazy as the Westboro Baptist church and losing sympathizers. So lets protest, sign petitions, educate, legislate about the horrors of the fur industry, help bust a fur farm, donate to anti-fur groups- and lets do it in Joan Rivers memory.
