My Throwback Travel Adventure Continues......SAN DIEGO NAVAL BASE, San Diego California.....2005.. Naval Base San Diego, sometimes called. 32nd St. Naval Station is the largest base of the UNITED STATES on the West Coast in San Diego Ca.NBSD is the principal homeport of the Pacific Fleet consisting of 54 ships over 120 tenant commands. The base is composed of 13 piers stretched over 977. acres of water. The total on base population is 20,000 military personnel and 6,000 civilians. Thanks to Uncle Panyong and Auntie Sonia they served as a tour guide as i explored d entire base area and accommodated me during my visit to the place. Uncle Panyong is a retired Navy Officer.I salute you Uncle for a geat job well done..... .
