My Top Morgan Freeman Films (Inspired by Camerons Spacey list) 10)Olympus Has Fallen -Id probably like OHF a bit more if I were younger; but Im bored of the films that try to jerk off the idea of MERICA! and patriotism when Im interested in story, characters, and not a shit ton of fan service. 9)Bruce Almighty 8)The Contract 7)Million Dollar Baby 6)Unforgiven -One of those Clint Eastwood films I actually like... no thanks to hard-ass McGee. 5)Batman Begins -Im limiting it to one film out of the trilogy and while BB wasnt the best, Morgan Freeman did the most in it. 4)Se7en -Though Spacey stole it in my opinion, I can say MF carried the film to the third act. 3)Driving Miss Daisy -Yeah, I know. Thats a chick flick, rabble-rabble-rabble. What can I say, its a good movie. 2)The Shawshank Redemption -Excellent, excellent film. Its his most iconic role, for sure; but, as great as it is, I felt just a tad bit more of a dude can act moment in no.1. This may be his best role, but I found his performance in 1 to be a bit more standout. 1)The Bucket List -What puts The Bucket List at the top is just how much more of a challenge it is to Freemans screen presence. With Jack Nicholson being one of, if not my favorite actor, it really shows how much Morgan Freeman can flex his acting muscles. I still find it difficult to discern who stole the show, but Freeman sparred with one of the greats here.
