My View On Socialism And On Those That Propagate It Useful - TopicsExpress

My View On Socialism And On Those That Propagate It Useful idiots (to use a term often attributed to Lenin) who advocate socialism do not do so from a basis of practical knowledge of that system, they do so only from a basis of having been brainwashed by certain leftwing books, magazines and manifestos. It is a system being propagated by leftwing professors who do so merely as a way to get themselves noticed by the elite of leftwing academia, and a way for them to get opinion pieces and papers published in academic journals and magazines. They regurgitate the same old unworkable theories of social justice and equality while giving their readers zero examples of where socialism was successful in making society more just and equal. And therein lies the problem; Socialism requires only superficial emotion and no deeper thought and logic. It is a system being propagated by those too intellectually lazy to research historical records and to speak to those of us, like me, who were born in communist socialist republics and who lived under abject poverty, extreme hunger and ZERO personal freedoms. These amateur advocates of socialism choose to ignore those of us who have seen first hand how big brother not only is not capable of fixing social ills but in fact only exacerbates them to a degree that would be unimaginable if we had not witnessed it. The reality is that socialism is a brutal horror that progressive socialists like to dress up in fancy Haute Couture clothes and expensive make-up and then parade around their future subjects as some sort of “better and more enlightened way”. The inevitable result of this “more enlightened way” is actually totalitarianism, as has been proven time and time again. It is a system that enchants the naïve with big promises built upon a foundation of lies. A system that has in fact created nothing but poverty and misery wherever it has been imposed. Enlightened socialists and progressives live in Opposite World. Whatever they publicly advocate always turns out to be the exact opposite of what they previously advocated. They advocate for universal goals such as “fairness” in society, and racial and class equality. Yet, the actual result is always a society less fair and less equal than ever before. “Peace” comes in the form of Molotov cocktails and looted private businesses, “racial and religious equality” comes in the form of murdered Jews and Christians in Israel and the Middle East, “justice” comes in the form of involuntary confinement of innocent people in hard labour/re-education camps in Siberia, and fair economic reform comes in the form of all day bread lines and a broken job market. The propagation of socialism by leftwing academics is the intellectual equivalent of a Gen Y’er who thinks wearing a “Che Guevara” T-shirt makes him/her an advocate of social reform (when in fact it makes them an advocate of sheer lunacy and mass murder). But then again, this is exactly how low information voters have always been created. First promise them an idea that no man could possibly be against, an idea that titillates their naïve and utopic notions of fairness and justice. Then sit back and watch the dystopia develop and formerly low information voters suddenly wonder how this ever happened. This is not the equality they were promised. They suddenly realize that the basis of socialism is that some people, namely those at the top of the pyramid, are more equal than others, and the only way to remain at the top of the pyramid is to keep those below it under total governmental, economic, social and even physical control. Freedoms only exist in a free society and free societies are the antithesis of a social machine that requires obedient cogs instead of people with individual hopes and desires and the right to make individual choices. Finally, I would like to ask these leftwing useful idiots a simple question. Have you ever heard of anyone trying to escape a Capitalist country to get into a Socialist country? If not, why not? If socialism is everything some people promise it will be, why has the traffic always been OUT of socialist “utopias”? Hhhhmm….makes you think, doesn’t it? Written by Emanuel Roth
