My Write Up in Daily Rising Kashmir. Snow fury and minister’s claim This refers to the statement Dealing with snow furry : Kashmir is much advanced than USA given by Congress minister Taj Mohiudin. One wonders what is the minister trying to obtain by giving away such a statement when the ground zero levels are proving all the government claims hoax. Either he has tried to remain in news or he is just trying to fool people for vote bank as election bugle has been blown. Moreover, it an insult to USA and its working agencies. By issuing such a statemen minister has made mockery of JK government approaches dealing snow furry. Somebody remind the said minister that a couple of months ago USA was hit by Polar vortex resulting in extreme sub zero temperatures , heavy snow fall and fatal snow storms. Surprisingly, the power supply even during that period of harsh weather never went off in USA and its adjoing countries. Back in Kashmir, one feet of incliment snow has paralysed life. Roads are still inundated and water logged in main city Srinagar. Power has not been restored in most of the villages even after four days of Snow fall. Instead of issuing such a rediculous statement, the minister should have bothered to visit avalanche hit villages of district Kulgam.
