My XT8 has been out of whack since it crashed into the pavement in June. I finally took it it apart to collimate it and clean the mirror. A few mishaps, includine the tube falling to the floor as I removed the primary mirror... and dropping the screwdriver onto the mirror. (I wanted to cry after that one.) The center screw on the holder thingamajig for the secondary mirror (yeah, thats what Im calling it) wont budge, so I think the angles a bit off. Overall, Im calling it a success... if not, then I can always repurpose the primary mirror into one heck of a cosmetics mirror. ;)
