My (actual and literally) great-grandparents John and Mary Toler - TopicsExpress

My (actual and literally) great-grandparents John and Mary Toler started a family tradition (I have no idea how many) years ago and every birthday we would read from a book called 2 Minutes with God before we had cake. I remembered a lot of this but, fortunately I was able to hijack a picture of this page in the book from one of my cousins pages. (Thank you Amirah. lol). If you were ever at one of our birthdays at 18 Glenwood place you might remember this too. And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him. -Luke 2:40 Today is Ebony Campbells and My son Mark Dean Campbells birthday. (I named him after a good guy by the way). It is a glad day for us. We remember that it was on this day 5 years ago that he came to us....(And I remember her father Kevin Jones breaking all of the traffic laws in the book to get us to the hospital on that snowy morning.) We are also glad, too, that God has kept him through these years, and we continue to ask God to keep him through many happy years to come. Our Lord Jesus was once a little Child. The Bible says a very beautiful thing about him. It says that He grew in body, in mind, and in spirit; and it tells us that God loved him. That is the meaning of our Bible verse; The child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him. And that is exactly what we hope Markie will do. We hope that he will grow as a child of God should grow, with the right spirit in his heart. And we know that then Gods love will always be upon him. Another happy birthday To one of us is given; Then let us thank the Father For all His gifts from heaven. O may His love and mercy To this, His child be near, And keep him safe and happy Through evry coming year. Amen. -Kate T. Sizer.
