My advice to those looking for job... Dont waste your little savings from allawee and time going for text or interview of any Federal Government or state Government jobs without powerful connection because you will regret it. All the big ogas have many relations and relations of their friends who are looking for job and there is no way they will give you the job and leave their people. If they dont have any relation to give the job, they will give it to any fine girl they catch during the test or interview on agreement. The only FG or SG job u can get is the least one with much suffering, poor salary and many months of salary arrears. During my job searching time, i applied to more than 100 establishment, but never applied to any Government job because i know the country of my origin well. All my friends that went for FG jobs at Abuja and SS/SG jobs regretted. But one day, as i was at my free newspaper reading joint reading newspapers, i came across job vacancies in one of the ministries of one of the Eastern states (name withheld). many positions to fill out. I got interested because they said that all the old staff/management were retired/sacked for new management, staff and organization. And they need young guys for positions, so i applied for Accountant II. Luckily, i was called for test. I passed the test and 3 oral interviews. I got the appointment and resumed work. lol... I worked for only one day and took Ben Johnson. As i resumed and was introduced with other new guys to the staff, i felt that the establishment was ok and great place to start, because i saw many staff looking good. About 10am, i did not see many staff around. I felt they went for meeting so i was forced to go and ask the security man. The guy laughed and told me that all man left for their personal business. i was like really! The worst that made me took Ben Johnson was that they are owing them 4 months salary... lol. Na death be that for me. That was how i left immediately without coming back. They called me after many days (showing that they dont even know who is at work or not, lol) and i told them that i am not interested. Thank God i was still on probation. My dear, I know how it is staying at home without a job (especially for those of us from low income family) after all u put in school for years. Your knowledge is not a waste... it will help u one day. Dont regret going to school. Just try to start up something with what you have, join your parents in their business with your knowledge, learn how to make hair or cut hair and work for someone to raise money for yours, learn how to design furniture and open yours like an exposed person, open dry cleaning business, hair salon, and so on. Any of these businesses can make you great tomorrow. If you are interested in banking job and no way, try to join the security unit of any of the banks, it will help u to come closer to the management and staff of the bank and gives u opportunity to gain employment in the bank. Many guys i know made it that way. One thing is sure, you will make up all you have passed through any time start... Try as much as you can to overcome temptation... dont fall for anything. Hang in for God and keep it real. God will package u one day. Love u... *Damn error, if any*
