My aim is to keep all things LFP positive and constructive. That said tonight I received an email from a mother in tears because the hand specialist she saw told her (your child) will never play piano, she can just wear a glove at school?! Yes some doctors DO say this regarding children with hand differences. Makes me so mad that those put in a position of resource and authority can be so limited and damaging in their words. In my opinion any doctor, teacher, coach etc. who says your child CANT do something because of their limb difference is only exposing their own lack of expertise, merit and willingness to explore the possibilities. This is not a reflection of your child.
