My apartment is so cold that yesterday I couldnt work. I just stayed bundled up and read. I reread Raider as I need the characters for the mermaid book. That was a book edited by Linda so I didnt have to explain every sentence. I had years without her, with editors who had no sense of humor. At every joke they wrote I dont understand in the margin. One editor was so bad I wanted to buy her a rubber stamp. Explaining why something is funny to a humorless person is an impossible task. Do you have any people in your life who dont get what makes something funny? Jude
