We need to know approximate numbers to ensure we have adequate supplies. Waterton Dive Weekend - August 14th - 17th. If you are interested in joining us a Waterton National Park please let us know. We have chosen South Country Inn in Cardston for our accommodations for the Waterton Lake Summer dive weekend. We will be leaving on August 14th and returning on August 17th. Here is the contact info for the hotel. Rooms are booking fast so I would highly recommend if you are interested to book your own rooms asap.... Dont forget dive night is Tuesday Nights. We generally leave the Scuba Guys Dive shop by 6:00 PM and hit the water by around 7:00 PM. Moose Jaw Barracudas Club Dues Just a reminder for those that are interested in joining or who havent already renewed your Moose Jaw Barracudas dive club members that dues are now due. Dues are $55 for a single diver or $60 for a family. Please contact Randy Logan for more information. Assiniboia Summer Camp Gregg is putting on an informational dive day on July 11th. If you are able to help out please contact Gregg at the dive shop. Our Dive Club receives funding from the Saskatchewan Underwater Council for putting on such activities. At this months meeting we have also decided on a fall BBQ. This year it will take place @ Wakamow Park. We are hoping for Sunday Sept 14th or the following Sunday Sept 21st. Will be finalized at a later meeting. Curtis and Kelly are going to be our chefs this year.. I hear Ribs are on the menu. Any questions or suggestions.. Call Curtis down at the shop. Curtis also discuss a tropical destination: Roatán, located between the islands of Útila and Guanaja, is the largest of Honduras Bay Islands. Approximately 3rd week of February and in the area of 2500 - 2700 per person. This includes flights, accomodations, diving and 10 days to enoy it all. There are 2 days of travelling time there and back.. So in total.. 14 lovely days out of the -30 cold winter temps!!! Curtis has not yet finalized details.. So please talk to him if interested in going. The more people interested in going.. The lower the cost! A day of diving has been decided for Diefenbaker Lake: August 29th. Anyone interested.. Please call the shop... A good time will be had.. and Curtis tells me there will be some good BBQing as well! Last but not least: We are required to do memberships drives by the SUC to try to get new members from all ethnics of life: Any ideas or suggestions... Call Curt or Greg at the shop.
