My apologies to the follower who posted a question on my timeline earlier today which I never responded to. My cell app isnt as smooth as my mac, and I honestly lost it somehow. To answer the question, Im pushing up my timing just a smidge from where it was this morning. I think by 3AM well be getting hit, and from 3-6 it will be on like Donkey Kong! The extreme SE into RI and the Cape will run thru 8AM or so. I honestly am not getting the warm and fuzzies about this…I really think the conditions exist in the SE corner to get some really strong, but fast-hitting storms to plow through right before sunrise. Ill be out there, but as I must say, chasing in the dark is extremely dangerous and I do not recommend any of you doing it! I will be doing just as the name implies…chasing….not plotting intercepts and trying to get in front of or to the side of a storm the way I would in daylight, its just too risky. I do this for your benefit, for the improvement of the Science of forecasting, and for helping the NWS and local news get what they need to inform the public with all due haste when necessary. It doesnt hurt that I love doing it of course…lol!
