My back has been all gummed up since the pancreatitis debacle and I finally got an MRI. Results showed a bulging herniated disc. Doctor said that it ironically likely has nothing to do with the pancreas and gallstone issues I had. Then he asked me if I had suffered from a sports injury or fallen down. I was too ashamed to admit how many New York City streets upon which I have faceplanted so I pretended that there was a bad phone connection and completely dodged the question. Between that and having to pick up a pair of custom orthotics this morning to deal with two heel spurs in my left foot, I am apparently in rapid decline. From the neck down, I am approximately 115 years old. (Well, in 19 days, I guess Ill turn 116.) See what I did there? MY BIRTHDAY IS IN 19 DAYS!
