My beloved in Christ, Welcome to a great week of freedom and celebration! I stand upon God’s unfailing word in John 14:13 and Matthew 18:18-19 and declare that we will have deliverance, freedom, and celebration in every area of our lives this week and forever in Jesus name amen. Shout a loud amen and receive your deliverance and freedom forever in Jesus name. Devotion time!!!!!!! Topic of devotion: I break out, breakthrough and break free in Jesus name amen. Prayer before devotion: Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law (Psalm 119:18 *King James Version *KJV). Song for devotion: “God is here” by Martha Munnizzi. Click and listen at: https://youtube/watch?v=S27luprE2a8 Lyrics of the song “ God is here” Verse 1 There is a sweet anointing in the sanctuary There is a stillness in the atmosphere Come and lay down The burdens you have carried For in this sanctuary God is here Chorus He is here, He is here To break the yoke and lift the heavy burdened He is here, He is here To heal the hopeless heart and bless the broken Come and lay down The burdens you have carried For in this sanctuary God is here Bridge Speak Lord, speak Lord (Repeat *12) Memory verse: 1 Chronicles 4:10New King James Version (NKJV). And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” Food for thought: From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it (Matthew 11:12). Bible readings: 1 Chronicles 4:9-10New King James Version (NKJV) 9 Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez,[a] saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” 10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested. Acts 16:25-28 **New International Version (NIV) 25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose. 27 The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. 28 But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!” Bible commentary This devotion is a wakeup call to all Christians worldwide to arise from their valley of setbacks and possess their inheritance of God’s endless prosperity through Jesus Christ amen. We should never settle for less, thinking it is the will of God for us to suffer afflictions, setbacks and persecution. God’s will is that we prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospereth (3 John 1:2 *KJV). We have to take back what belongs to us violently in prayers to God because “from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it” (Matthew 11:12). We also have to discover and recover always! Jabesh discovered in 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 that he was more honorable than his brothers but still going through cycles of afflictions because his mother called his name Jabez (which means pain). He then chose to break out of his problem of answering the wrong name; by breaking through in prayers to God almighty who has the answers to all problems. He prayed the simple and powerful prayer “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” God granted him his request and he was able to break free forever in Jesus name amen. Paul and Silas is another example of Christians who were able to break out, breakthrough and break free in the Bible (Acts 16:25-28). They were thrown into jail for preaching the word of God, but they chose to break out of their ugly situation by breaking through in prayers and praises to God. God heard their prayers and praises and delivered them by sending a violent earthquake that shook the foundations of the prison. The prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose. They broke free from their bondage by divine intervention. However, they chose not to run away but used the situation to glorify God almighty and win souls for Jesus Christ. Be encouraged! The God that helped and heard Jabesh, Paul and Silas is your God forever amen. If he did it in the past, he will do it for you because he changeth not. He is our great deliverer forever amen. Please examine your life today to discover what you have to recover. Then choose to break out because the will of God is that you prosper. Then breakthrough in prayer and praises to God. God will surely answer, and do more than you can ask or think about in Jesus name amen. You will use the situation to glorify God and win souls for Jesus Christ amen through your great testimonies amen.
