My best friend Con and I used to reminisce about the good old days when we had TWO TVS growing up. They both were in the living room, stacked atop one another. One, the sound worked. The other, the picture worked. As long as you synced the channels, everything was good. Now my son can relate. :D It has not been a good year for appliances in the Brantner household. A few months ago, I started unplugging my surge protector in the kitchen when not in use because my microwave turns on by itself, and my coffee pot will not shut off. My refrigerator (circa 1970) has been freezing everything for over a year now. But, like the Macabees oil (Did I spell that right, Margie?) It just keeps going. (Thank you, Lord.) As long as we keep the milk on the top shelf toward the front, we can thaw everything else as needed. My washer decided it didnt want to spin any longer about two weeks ago, and now my oven wont light. The stove works, though. At least we wont starve. It would be comical if I had any money to spare. Just send a little wish to the appliance fairy for us tonight, okay? Oh! On the bright side, our toaster works! Okay. Done whining.
