My best friend and I had a wonderful conversation the other day, - TopicsExpress

My best friend and I had a wonderful conversation the other day, about some of my challenges and basically my current state. You know how when things happen to you, you try to get an understanding about what the lesson is for you? Well, Im very analytical so I tend to analyze things and compare them with the word of God. It was so hilarious because as uncomfortable as I was concerning what I was going through, I could not help but to laugh... My God! I know why this is happening, I said. I need more patience. If there is anything that I can say about myself, its that I want stuff done and I want it done now! I am not too stuffy or full of myself to be honest about it. I have a lot of good points, but I also know what my weaknesses are. I dont like to wait. I will find a way to get it done or do it myself, and Im talking pronto! For people like us, it aint nothing to get her done. Im telling you, if it can be done, Im already there. But what happens when God either says no, or not right now? He knows best and we have to honor that. Can you relate to that? Many people who are leaders and have the gift of leadership or administration have to learn how to be more patient with ourselves, with people and with processes. Im on the topic of patience because its where Im at right now at this very moment. God has given me an immersion class on patience... Lol.. And If you are anything like me, He knows that He has to remove things from your grasp so that you dont find an innovative way of doing what He is ultimately going to do for you anyway, in His perfect timing. You might want to be mad or feel disappointed, but dont do it. Show the Lord that you trust Him. He knows that youre waiting on Him and He is coming through at a very precise and strategic moment. As uncomfortable as it to have to wait for things to line up, for doors to open, for that new job or that new car or that husband, our healing or our ministry to unfold, we simply have to learn how to put things in Gods hands and wait. With every new level, your spirit has to be trained to go a little higher, a little stronger, a little longer. That is the gist of what I wanted to say tonight. Instead of fighting it, as much as is possible, just relax and wait on God. He really does do exceeding abundantly above anything we can ask or think.
