My biggest fear of BIG government was never rooted in the fear of what role government has in our lives. Lets face it even my thought that government should only do what the people cant do for themselves means government exists for a reason. No my fear is what is currently happening. The expansion of the executive branch. Our founding fathers feared this very fact and tried desperately to create a government that would prevent this from happening. Unfortunately it has come to fruition. To actually hear a sitting President say he will bypass congress whenever he can is very scary. One person with that much power doing whatever he or she likes and we the 49 million who did NOT vote for him or her have zero voice to make a change. But this is our own making, look at the idiot Sen Reid who change centuries of Senate rules so that the executive branch could get anyone the want in very powerful positions. Then those individuals use their power to say target certain groups or investigate news reporters, or collect massive amounts of data on individuals, or torture innocent people. Is this the government our forefathers wanted to leave to us? Many past Presidents had the authority to do many things but most never crossed the line, but this President with pride says, I will walk over the constitution, I will put reporters in jail, I will change laws without the people, and I really dont care if you agree with me or not. I was elected and I will do as I please. Well congress I think it is time to reign the executive branch in and I suggest you start with this President. If he wants to boldly go where no President has gone before. The Congress you need to follow his lead, I hate to say it but there are only 2 ways that congress can stop him. One defund anything he does by executive order or impeach him. Both are very difficult, but it is time Congress exercise its rights.
