My biggest pet peeve owning an autoshop, means that I get phone - TopicsExpress

My biggest pet peeve owning an autoshop, means that I get phone calls from people at all hours of the day and night, asking to help a person with their project. What this means is, more often than not, people call me and ask how to do it. People find it hard to take when I say that I am unwilling to tell them how, when it is the very way that I put food on the table. I have gotten a bad reputation in the car scene because of my unwillingness to cut my own throat. I paid my dues to learn what I have to do so I can perform the things they cannot. People expect me to do this or they badmouth me if I dont... and they do. It seems like blackmail sometimes. This is such a stark contrast to my LegalShield business. Now, I encourage people to call me and ask me how. I will even do the work to get you started! There is such an amazing difference between both business models. Becoming a servant of others is so much more rewarding when you are in a people helping people business. The danger is my reputation... I am finding out that a reputation in one business greatly influences the other. Lets hope the right reputation prevails.
