My biggest regret about the blanket drive This Monday things - TopicsExpress

My biggest regret about the blanket drive This Monday things were going great. We were getting ready to head out to Skid row and Luke pointed to a couple who had brought with them a huge dog. A couple of volunteers on their first visit with us had brought this what looked like 50lbs rottweiler. On top of having to keep 76 volunteers safe that night, now I had a rotty to deal with who was being aggressive with every dog he saw. I approached them with absolutely no intention of being polite. Me: You guys are not thinking of bringing your dog to Skid row are you? Girl: You dont think we should? Me, Pretty loud and abrasively: NO Now that I look back at it, I understand the owners perspective. Im sure they wanted their dog to experience Skid row. To see how bad humans and other dogs had it, to show him how good he had it with his kibbles and bits while other dogs ate scrap. For him to see how other dogs slept on pavement unlike his comfy memory foam doggy bed. Yes my friends, I deprived this dog of experiencing homelessness in America. My heart is heavy and hurting. Bahahaha Note to dog owners in LA: You dont have to bring your dog EVERY WHERE! Just FYI.
