My birthday is nearly over. Lots of tears and a few smiles. I made bacon and eggs for breakfast and lamb/vegetable soup for dinner. How birthdays have changed, this would be the first one where I have cooked my own birthday dinner. The kids did their best to make it a great birthday, they cooked and decorated a chocolate cake. Daniel even managed to get me a little birthday present: a cat in a boot ornament. Awesome kids - thank you! Thank you for all the birthday wishes and greetings. It is really appreciated since I have been feeling sorry for myself, it is so difficult to move forward when days like this one have to be faced. I thought someone may have invited us out to celebrate but alas no....... Just over a month til we celebrate Daniels birthday, I think I better start planning it, he is growing up way too quick :-)
