My boy LINK! This strapping boy is 3 months old,and weighing in at almost 17 lbs.A far cry from his 7 lb skin and bones little malnourished,starving body when Linka first brought him to me from ACS;s EBI list! He is alllll boy! Loves to rough and tumble with my other foster Fudge,but is getting too big and doesnt know his own strength!Link will be getting neutered Wednesday and will be available fro adoption Thursday! Loves his rawhide chewies and squeaky toys. Not fond of sharing his food,or any thing eatable.He can be quite aggressive,then.Not towards me,or anybody.Just the other fosters. Were working on that.I believe it comes from being so hungry for so long.I mean the baby was so skinny you could see the bones in his spine,back,hips and skull! But he has sure filled out and shot up! He is a stout pup! Youd think hed be kinda rowdy,but he is very gentle and loving and comes when I call him! Loves ear and head rubs!!! Not a huge fan of the crate, he will sleep thru the night once he quiets.But he will also sleep peacefully on the bed just as well! He does have puppy issues ie. chewing on almost everything he can get in his mouth,but has no problem giving it up,or leaving it when offered a proper thing he is ALLOWED to chew on.And has had a few accidents in the house,but again we are working on that.So far only three since he was released from his quarantine. Link has come along way for a young pup.He deserves a loving ,committed forever home where his bowl and heart will always be full! Link is UTD on his shots,he is on HW/flea preventative and will receive his Rabie shot this Wednesday when he gets neutered. He is also micro chipped. Link has not met anybody he doesnt like.But I would advise older children if you have them,as he is a stout boy and is expected to get close to 65 lbs when grown! I call him a San Antonio Special as he will always be special to me,yet his paperwork says he is an American Stafford shire.(Im still saying hound mix) He has a wonderful soft,short haired golden coat and four beautiful white sox!! And as an added bonus..he has double dew claws!!! He weighs in at 16.9 lbs. and would love a wonderful loving forever ,committed home! He is an inside baby,can be outside for some play and rough housing,but needs to be an inside dog and a member of your family.
