My boy sam had tryouts this past weekend for a Barnstormers baseball team and tournament team. There were 12 kids that came for tge tryout and there were only 2 spots. During that hour I tried to size my boys skills against the others. I would have guessed him to be a 2 or 3 pick, so I wasnt sure where we would end up. I got the call on Sunday that he was picked along with Molly who he played with this past year. He is the happiest boy in the whole world right now. I got the chance to explain my life motto to him Honest effort has its rewards I have lived my life by this slogan and I think he will too. This is a huge accomplishment fir him and kind of a victory for me too. Keep workinf hard bubba and you will be just fine. Just a quick shout out to coach Tim for all you taught Sam this past year.
