My brain has blown up five times today. For a while now, Ive noticed that one of my coworkers had the last name Wiggum. Its a peculiar last name, considering two of The Simpsons most iconic characters are: Ralph Wiggum and Chief Wiggum. From there I realized he kind of looked like the two. So today, I decided to ask him: Hey man, you like the Simpsons? From there I learned that hes essentially the inspiration for Ralph Wiggum. The inspiration for Marge, Margaret Groening, grew up here in Everett (and was one of Everett Highs best students, named Ms. Everett). From what Ive been able to gather, my coworker is cousins with Matt Groening and was the inspiration for Ralph Wiggum. Its kind of depressingly awesome how right I was. Move over Sherlock, Im the worlds greatest detective.
