My brother, Allen Gettys, today has crossed over to his next journey... Whatever that may be... Allen was definitely one of a kind. He always walked his own path and was never the norm. He was kind hearted, a WONDERFUL Ganpa to his grandkids, my grandkids and all of the kids growing up around him. He took care of our mom through her illnesses and stayed with her through her passing! Allen has 2 sons, Christopher Gettys and Teran Owens and his girlfriend, Michelle has been a Godsend to Allen for the past 5 years. She has gone through this whole journey by his side ALL the way!! He spoke with pride about his boys! He also loved his little sister (me) unmeasurably. Allen was 52 years old. He passed away this morning at 7 and will be missed!!! Rayford Allen Gettys. I love you big brother. To the moon!!!
