My brothers & Sisters in Islam It is unlawful in Islam for an intending wife and husband to remain together in seclusion or in a remote place because the Prophet {SAW} prohibited it for a strange man and woman to stay togethe in remoteness or in a room. Secondly Islamic law only allows having a look at the woman only. But the practice which is very rampant these days: that is, keeping a boy or girl friend, prolonged courtship, going into seclusion with such a lady and going out together, traveling togethe with the aim of knowing each other better! All these are HARAM and contravene the SHARIAH It can never lead to knowing each other better or proper acquaintance. But wil definitely lead to perdition and the occurrence of unexpected. After that certainly each and every one of them at that period will not exhibit his or her true picture. Actual character of each wil definitely come out after marriage The easiest way to know abt each other is to enquire from close relatives relatives neighbors friends etc
