My brothers, please do not make the mistake of thinking you did your wife a favour by marrying her. God said men should love their wives. It also tasked women to submit to their husbands. God in His wisdom knows marriages succeed when these two cardinal rules are obeyed by couples. Please read the entire 1st Corinthians chapter 13 for more on what constitutes love. How do you expect your wife to be all sweet and embracing when you treat her like thrash on a daily basis? Lets be realistic. Marriage is a UNION. You and your partner must compliment each other. Entering into marriage with the mentality of a SUPER-MAN would only create needless problems that might end up destroying your union. Women have since the beginning of creation played key roles in building homes. Thus, they cannot be swept under the carpet as stooges who need FAVOURS from men. Love your partners - treat them with affection and respect- appreciate the role they play in keeping your homes intact - see them as your soul mates,and they will definitely not misbehave towards you. To my single female friends, human beings are unique. Its not a failure if you do not have a partner. Dont ever allow anyone to make you feel worthless. We are all special in the eyes of God.
