My buddy, Steve, the bike guy, had his 8 and a half month pregnant daughter over for dinner, and all was good, she was sitting outside with the dogs; three pitbulls. For no reason we will ever understand, two of them started fighting over her lap and injured her. Steve, being Daddy, sees a sea of blood not only on his daughter, but his first grandchild, and runs out, getting her out of the way. Meanwhile, the dogfight gets worse, and daughter grabs her boyfriends gun from her car and hands it to Daddy (Steve), who is already freaked out from his dogs fighting, et.al. He ends up shooting the dogs, and goes to jail for protecting his daughter, grandchild, and who knows who else had they broken loose. The whole family is heart broken; he loved those dogs. But he loved his daughter more.
