My cancer is caused by the Human papillomavirus. I have a weakened immune system due to several comorbid conditions to the HPV and Cervical cancer. im on 3 different nausea medications from big pharma with 3 different delivery methods (dissolve under the tongue, solid pill, and suppository) in addition to all the cannabis I use to help keep the nausea in check. I went back on my opiod pain medications today. My loved ones could not bear to watch me try to push through the levels of pain they were seeing in my face and the way I move. I have a seizure disorder that is only kept in check when I use cannabis along with my anti seizure drug (one alone is not enough, they seem to work together). I also take a medication to keep the panic attacks under control associated with PTSD.... I am =doing all I know to do to get better... including meditation and massage therapy. Based on the fact that the cancer is caused by a virus, I had a very pointed question to ask my doctor today. I said, If we know HPV is causing the cancer, and we know I have a weakened immune system, why do we not send me for some immunotherapy to boost my immune response? She said, I do not believe they have developed an immunotherapy for HPV yet. We then revisited my cancer options... Cryo therapy (freezing the cells off) is out because they have already taken so much tissue from the area for cancer (complete and total hysterectomy including cervix is gone). They cannot cut any more out for the same reason... fearing they will nick the bowel or bladder... so I asked what options were available to me.... Her response? keep taking the immune boosting herbs and cannabis oil... my only other option at this point is chemo. So very grateful to be in the middle of cooking some cannabis oil. If even the doctor agrees that cannabis oil is my best shot (my stubborn ass made a promise to myself never to take that shit again after my first dose. The good news is, however conflicted I may be about going back on the big pharma solutions, I am grateful they are here. The physical pain has been extreme lately.... and I cant imagine going through the birthday of my dead son with that level of pain and remain sane. Tho ose who have stood by me, I thank you. Everyone else, I hope this helps you find some understanding in why I have been so withdrawn lately
