My carefully planned Diner en Blanc menu needed a bit of a tweak - TopicsExpress

My carefully planned Diner en Blanc menu needed a bit of a tweak when I discovered we were in for a cold night — the answer was a silky Prawn bisque to start, I will transport it in flasks and serve it piping hot with crunchy baguette and some fresh herbs to scatter. Whilst the bisque is simple to make it has quite a few steps in it, so it is time consuming - but an event like Diner en Blanc deserves the time and energy. Because the bisque took nearly an hour to prepare it deserves something special to drink with it —ice cold Pol Roger champagne is the perfect partner! For dessert how about crunchy chocolatey cannoli, stuffed with a Frangelico and chocolate ricotta cream! What to do for main course? Are you going? What will you be eating?
