My character design and back story: Name: Malik Race: Half Vampire (half human) Class: Assassin Her mother was a well-respected human and her father a well-respected vampire. Originally, for the first five years of her life, Malik was locked away in the attic; it would disgrace the family name if anyone had known a half-blood had been born into it. Eventually Malik managed to escape and see the world for the first time. Unfortunately, the world also got to see her. She was shunned by both vampire and man, laughed at, teased, and beaten. Finally, shed had enough, she abandoned her village and set out on her own. Not long after she was found, starving, by an older man. He was kind to her despite her.. defect. The man took her in and raised her for two years, training her to care for herself. Malik was finally happy, until one day. The old man began to send her on errands. He had grudges. Many of them. And his resolve was to use Malik to kill anyone whod managed to upset him. Out of respect she would suck it up and do the jobs, even though they made her sick to the stomach, until the old man began treating her like a slave, kicking her and calling her names. He even began locking her up at night so she couldnt leave. So she killed him. Poisoned his food when he made her serve him at his bedside. She then wandered for years on her own, trusting no one but the blades she carried. She continued to assassinate for money, old habits die hard and this one kept food on her plate. One day she stumbled upon Dyrads den and, out of curiosity, decided to stay for awhile. She still hardly talks and doesnt trust many people there, but she is, slowly, warming up to them.
