My charter released me early tonight. I realized that if I hurried, I had a small window to get out for opening day of duck and goose season. I got the bus back as fast as legally possible. Once I was in my own vehicle, I may have gone a little faster than legally allowed. I wonder what reaction I would have gotten from a cop to hear that I was rushing home for a 10 minute opening day duck hunt. I grabbed Hunter and Crystal, and we had a 13 minute hunt. The only thing in range were 2 owls that flew by, but we did see 3 geese about 400 yards away. :)
