My church family never ceases to amaze me or to make me laugh. As you are all aware, we stopped serving Wednesday evening dinners before Thanksgiving and wont serve again until after the New Year. While at bible study this evening, a member came up to me and told me that he wanted some of our beans. I was trying to figure out if he meant baked beans, green beans, or chili beans but assured him that after the first of the year, I would make sure hed have his beans. He started laughing and told me he meant our cocoa beans. One evening when we made carrot cake and chocolate cake, he told me that he couldnt decide which one to take. I advised him to take one of each because the carrot cake, of course, was made with carrots and the chocolate cake had cocoa beans in it and everyone knows that beans are vegetables so if he took both, he would have a salad. Keep in mind that I was in the Fellowship Hall and not in the church when I explained the nutritious value of eating two pieces of cake!!! God bless Cross Trails Cowboy Churchs family!!! I really do love yall.
