My church sign calendar today says: Patience is a virtue that carries a lot of wait. Romans 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Romans 8:25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Ecclesiastes 7:9 Be not quick in your spirit to become angry, for anger lodges in the bosom of fools. Ephesians 4:2 With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, In all things God desires for us to be patient. To think in prayer before we act. So much of the pain & suffering in the world today could be eliminated if we simply took the time to reflect on how God would want us to react.
