My colleague Dr Ashok Ganesan who heads R&D amazes me no end; a PhD from Glasgow, nearly a decade in research in Belgium, now back in India for good. He hasnt forgotten his moorings... I learned a lot on Tamil saint poet Thiruvalluvar from him... !!! Heres one kural - yes, thats what his couplets are called.. kuzhal inidhu; yAzh inidhu enba- tham makkaL mazhalaich chol kELAthavar... Meaning : Flute is sweet, lute is sweet they say, those who have not heard their own babys babble. Message : Childrens babble is the sweetest music to hear than all. Extraordinary talent + imagine he lived in an era 2000 years back.. There were musical instruments then??!!
